Account & Data Deletion

At My Daily Bible, we value your privacy and give you full control over your data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information at any time.

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)

This is the fastest way to delete your data. It will immediately remove your profile from our systems.

Open the My Daily Bible app.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap on Settings (Gear Icon).
Select Delete Account and confirm the action.

Method 2: Website Request

If you no longer have access to the app, you can email our support team to process the deletion for you.

Please include your registered email address. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

What happens when you delete your account?

Your Firebase Authentication account is permanently deleted.
All personal progress (Reading history, Bookmarks, Journal entries) is removed.
Your Quiz scores and XP history are wiped from the leaderboard.
Subscriptions: Important! Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel a paid subscription. You must manage your subscription through the Google Play Store.

Data Retention

Upon deletion, most data is removed immediately. Some technical logs and anonymous analytics may be retained for up to 90 days for security and statistical analysis before being automatically purged.
